Good news for young people in Lazio! From Monday 1 July to Sunday 15 September 2024, all young people between the ages of 14 and 29 residing in the region will be able to travel for free on Cotral and Trenitalia vehicles in second class.
The initiative, promoted by the Lazio Region with the support of the Mobility and Transport Councillors, Fabrizio Gheraand to Culture, Equal Opportunities and Youth and Family Policies, Simona Baldassarre, returns for its second edition, anticipating the times compared to the previous year.
“This year the initiative starts 20 days ahead of 2023”, declare councilors Ghera and Baldassarre. “A sign of great attention that we want to give to our children to encourage them to use public transport by rail and road and to give them the opportunity to discover all the beauties of our region without spending money on travel”.
How to use the free service
To activate “Lazio in Tour Gratis” you need to have the LAZIO YOUth CARD and register on the dedicated app. Once activated, the card allows you to travel for free for 30 consecutive days on Cotral and Trenitalia vehicles in second class within the borders of Lazio.
