Friday, June 28, 2024 the Egyptian airline Nile Air inaugurated the new route between Cairo and Bergamo airportThe connection is operated with an Airbus A320 configured with 8 seats in Business Class and 156 in Economy Class, and guaranteed with three weekly flights, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing from Bergamo at 21:20 and arriving in Cairo at 02:00 (+1), and taking off from Cairo at 17:10 and arriving in Milan-Bergamo at 20:10.

The inaugural flight was greeted by the traditional water arch of the Orio al Serio Fire Brigade Detachment.

The route between Cairo and Milan Bergamo is the first ever operated by Nile Air in Italy, which becomes the ninth country served by the Egyptian airline.

Founded in Cairo in 2006, Nile Air is Egypt’s largest private airline and was recognized as the 4th best regional carrier for Africa by Skytrax World Airline Awards.
