LUCCA. Filming of the international film continues as previously announced in the historic centre Peter Greenaway, with the coordination of the tourism office of the Municipality of Lucca. These are new shots, with the presence of the Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman and other great actors of the cast, necessary to complete the production of the film that has reached a total budget of 20 million euros and will be released in cinemas in 2025. Here, in detail, the work program and the changes to traffic for the next few days.

Monday 1st July: from 10 am to 8 pm in via del Battistero there will be stop and go filming (without closure); instead piazza Antelminelli will be closed with traffic diverted from via Arcivescovato onto via della Rosa; closure of via delle Trombe at the height of the entrance to the Post Office (guaranteed access to the post offices) up to piazza Altelminelli, stop and go control in via del Molinetto (without closure), stop and go control in via del Duomo, at the height of the entrance to piazza S. Martino (without closure), technical vehicles in piazza S. Martino (garden wall side). In piazza San Michele filming with the drone from 2 pm to 5 pm, with some vehicles stopping in piazza San Salvatore; in via del Fosso filming with the drone and stopping of some technical vehicles in piazza San Francesco.

Tuesday 2nd July: we will film in Piazza San Salvatore / Fontana ‘Pupporona’ from 3pm to 7pm. Then technical vehicles will park in Piazza S. Giovanni Leonardi; from S. Maria Corte Orlandini to via del Loreto (both sides) no parking, stop and go via Santa Giustina (from piazza San Salvatore to via Della Colombaia), no parking in via Santa Giustina (from via Colombaia to piazza San Savior); for the set in Piazza San Salvatore, shuttle bus deviation, reversal of the direction of travel of Via Santa Giustina, from Via del Loreto to Piazza San Salvatore (due to closure of Piazza San Salvatore) from 4pm to 8pm, removal of bicycles and racks in Piazza San Salvatore. Closure therefore to transit of Piazza San Salvatore from 2pm to 8pm with stop and go compatible closure from 3pm to 5pm also of via Santa Giustina. It will be possible to access the Piazza San Michele – Via Calderia area by reversing the direction of travel in the last stretch of Via Santa Giustina, with the exception of the filming phase in Via Santa Giustina itself. In this last phase the direction of travel in via della Colombaia will also be reversed. Also on Tuesday 2nd July, from 9.00pm to 1.00am the set will be located in via Guinigi and this will entail a ban on parking in via Guinigi, from via Mordini to via S. Croce from 00.00am on 2nd to 1.00am on 3rd July, closure of via Guinigi from via Mordini to via Santa Croce from 9.00pm on 2nd to 1.00am on 3rd July, parking ban in via S. Andrea, from via Guinigi to via dell’Angelo Custode (connection square), parking of technical vehicles in piazza S. Gregorio (both sides) with parking ban from 00:00 on 2nd to 1:00 on 3rd July, ban on transit via S. Andrea, from via Fatinelli to via Guinigi, from 9:00pm on 2nd to 1:00am on 3rd July. Please remember that on the days of the film’s film shooting (1 and 2 July) based on ordinance no. 1281, residents and residents will be allowed to park for free in all paid car parks (blue stalls) within the historic centre.
