Autonomous Dignity of Prostitutionnew setup in Castel Sant’Elmo
“Dedicated to those who cannot defend themselves, to those who are no longer here, to those who don’t know who to ask for help” this is how director Luciano Melchionna introduces the new edition, the fiftieth, of his show/happening “Dignità Autonome di Prostituzione”. By popular demand, one of the most beloved theatrical events of recent years returns to the stage, in the extraordinary setting of Castel Sant’Elmo, announcing, from 29 June to 14 July 2024 (excluding Mondays), a new cycle of replicas designed and built for the imposing Neapolitan fortress. Is titled My wonderful 80s and beyond! the concert-event that Nino D’Angelo will hold on June 29th at the Maradona Stadium in Naples. The “boy from the B curve” will be the protagonist of a special evening full of music and emotions. Naples Pride
After a week of cultural, political and artistic events in the name of inclusion and sharing at the Real Albergo dei Poveri for the second edition of the Pride Park – which will end on Friday 28 June in the presence of Elly Schlein and Giuseppe Conte with the mayor Gaetano Manfredi – on Saturday 29 June, the Naples Pride. Meet in Piazza Municipio at 4:00 pm for the rainbow march for rights that will cross Via Toledo until reaching Piazza Dante. This year’s edition of the Pride has the theme “Make peace with rights”. The major events of the festival continue Naples City of Music – Live Festival 2024, Friday 28 June will be the turn of Tropico, alias Davide Petrella, with a concert in Piazza del Plebiscito. On stage with the Neapolitan artist there will be many great guests from the world of Italian music. Among these, the presence of Elisa, Ghali and Achille Lauro has already been announced. This is Wonderland, a live fairytale in the spaces of the Mostra D’Oltremare
This is Wonderland arrives in Naples with a narrative journey that traces and transcends the boundaries of exhibition art. From 1 June to 30 September, the spaces of Mostra d’Oltremare will be transformed as if by magic into a live fairy tale that tells one of the most beautiful classics of literature: Alice in Wonderland. The project, by Lux Eventi, develops in an area of over 40,000 square meters animated by 1500 artisanal installations, 25 original musical tracks, 1 show full of light and sound choreography and 2 tailor-made performances. Chills of Summer at the Botanical Garden of Naples
It is entrusted to The song of the seanew ‘creation’ by Maurizio de Giovanni, the inauguration of Chills of Summer 2024, twenty-third edition of the historic festival, this year dedicated to dreams, organized by Il Pozzo e il Pendolo Teatro di Napoli which, from Saturday 29 June at 9.00 pm, will return to animate, with its stories, the fascinating setting of the Real Orto Botanist of Naples. For about forty days, until Sunday 4 August, the most beautiful park in Naples will be transformed into the most magical of theaters surrounded by greenery, with a journey into the stories we loved most. Pietrarsa terraces: summer of events and live music at the Railway Museum
Summer evenings are back at the Pietrarsa National Railway Museum with the reopening of the “Terrazze Pietrarsa”. Numerous events are scheduled to allow visitors not only to admire historic locomotives and vintage carriages on display, but also to live a unique experience through a rich calendar of events and live music with the suggestive Gulf of Naples as a backdrop. Pompeii Theater of the World
The seventh edition of the festival continues Pompeii Theater of the World Directed by Roberto Andò, the 2024 edition of the festival will be held from 13 June to 13 July at the Teatro Grande del Sito di Pompei. Four shows by important directors and artists on the national and international scene, each repeated for three evenings, from Thursday to Saturday always at 9.00 pm, when the magic of the evening descends on the site, enveloping everyone in an atmosphere of rare, incomparable beauty. With its four titles on the programme, the summer festival of the National Theater of Naples confirms its nature as a showcase for new rereadings or revisitations of classical texts and works. Summer theatre in the Park of the Royal Palace of Portici with the review Beyond the Garden
From June 23rd to July 21st, Il Nuovo Teatro Sanità presents the second edition of Beyond the garden – Summer theater review in the Royal Palace of Porticia project by Mario Gelardi, created in collaboration with the BLab association, organized by Idee fuori scena and the Nuovo Teatro Sanità association, in synergy with the MUSA – Musei della Reggia di Portici and the Department of Agriculture and with the support of ConTRA Group, main sponsor of the event. For four Sundays, between June and July, the elegant and monumental park of the Royal Palace of Portici becomes the natural setting for the theatrical events directed by Mario Gelardi. Night at the Museum: in Città della Scienza children sleep under the stars of the Planetarium
Summer has arrived and Città della Scienza is once again offering – for 28 June – the successful “Night at the Museum” format. The interesting experience is reserved for boys and girls aged 5 to 11: the playful and at the same time educational program includes – starting from 8pm – socialization games to facilitate new friendships, convivial moments to dine together and then immerse yourself in an exciting nocturnal treasure hunt among the garden, pond and museum spaces.
