An important meeting dedicated to the professionalizing degree for surveyors called Digital Technologies for Construction, Environment and Territory (TeDCAT) was held at the University Campus of Pavia. This degree course has been active at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Pavia for two years, this university together with that of Genoa, will graduate the new surveyors.

It is a professionalizing course (it will no longer be necessary to pass the qualification exam) and can be carried out both in person and electronically, even while working. Numerous organizations were present, including representatives of 15 Colleges of Surveyors from Piedmont and Lombardy who have signed a collaboration agreement with the University of Pavia. The president of the Regional Committee of Surveyors and WGs of Piedmont, Geom. Carlo Cane of Diano d’Alba and the president of the Regional Surveyors and GL Council of Lombardy, Geom. Fabio Signorelli from Pavia, presented to the students the professional activities they will carry out during this period, analyzing the new technologies present in the profession.

Everyone underlined how much the professional figure of the Graduate Surveyor is in demand in the world of work, a modern professional-entrepreneur with a key role in innovation and digital transition applied to the territory and the world of construction.
