Lamezia Terme – Two musical evenings on the Corso as part of the celebrations in honor of the Patron Saints Peter and Paul, on 27 and 28 June with a procession scheduled for 29th at 6pm. On the 27th, Neri Per Caso will take the stage. The band had already been in the city in 2022 for a concert at the Teatro Grandinetti on the occasion of the “Christmas Fest” event. The Lametina square will also be enlivened by the music of emerging Lametini DJs. While, on 28 June, as already announced, it will be Ron & Band’s turn, with concerts starting at 10 pm, to warm up the audience. The celebrations will then come to life.
This, according to what was published with two separate ordinances, on the municipal notice board, in which it is ordered “to prohibit the occupation of the public land of the sidewalks and the road of Corso Numistrano on the days from 27 to 29 June 2024, from 4 pm until 24 and this excludes stable structures; in the event of proven violations of the provisions set out in this ordinance, unless they constitute a more serious crime, a fine of a minimum of €200.00 to a maximum of €500.00 will be applied”. Furthermore, on June 27th and 28th from 4pm to midnight “the administration and sale of alcoholic beverages and other beverages in glass containers and cans by persons carrying out the commercial activities of administration of food and beverages and clubs is always prohibited. private individuals from public establishments and vending machines in Corso Numistrano; Piazza S. Giovanni; Old Market square; Via Lissania; Climb F.lli Maruca; Ardito square; Piazza Mazzini; Corso G. Nicotera; Garibaldi Street; Independence Street; Piazza Mercato Nuovo and in the side streets immediately adjacent to the aforementioned streets and squares; it is also forbidden for all people present and frequenting public areas to use and consume any kind of alcoholic beverage and other drinks in glass containers and cans on site from 4pm to midnight on 27 and 28 June 2024; throughout the municipal territory it is forbidden to abandon cans, empty bottles or other empty drink containers in public places, outside of the designated collection containers; in the event of proven violations of the provisions set out in this ordinance, unless they constitute a more serious crime, a fine of a minimum of €200.00 to a maximum of €500.00 will be applied”.
