Padania Acque joins the Board of Directors of Aqua Publica Europea,

Padania Acque and the Integrated Water Service of the province of Cremona at the top of Aqua Publica Europea (APE), the European Association of Public Water Service Managers which includes over 70 operators, including the managers of Brussels, Paris, Vienna and Barcelona, ​​who serve 90 million citizens daily. Cristian Chizzoli, President of Padania Acque since 2021, professor of strategic marketing at Bocconi University, was elected member of the Board of Directors of the important European body that represents the voice of public operators in the international decision-making process for the management of water resources. There are five Italian representatives elected on the APE board: in addition to Padania Acque, representatives of SMAT (Turin), MM (Milan), Acque Veronesi (Verona) and Acquedotto Pugliese have been designated. “This is an appointment”, explains President Chizzoli, “which further attests to the levels of excellence achieved by the Integrated Water Service of the province of Cremona, already the recipient of various recognitions and awards as well as a reference model for quality and innovation. «I am honored and, at the same time, proud of this new role which gives prestige to the Cremonese water system and the entire provincial territory, and which places Padania Acque among the big names in the sector on the European scene. A result resulting from the fruitful work conducted at a local level with the Mayors and the Area Authority, and developed in synergy with other associative entities such as Water Alliance – Acque di Lombardia, Confservizi Lombardia and Utilitalia, with the constant objective of guaranteeing an essential service and quality in an efficient, responsible and sustainable way”.
