VIA EMILIA PAVESE – ROTTOFRENO

On Monday, July 1, the Tour de France will also pass on Strada Statale n. 10 in Via Emilia Pavese.

The athletes of the international cycling competition will enter the municipal area of Rottofreno, coming from the city of Piacenza, around 11.35 and will continue towards Castel San Giovanni. Since this is a competitive event, the Prefecture of Piacenza has chosen to order the closure of Strada Statale n. 10, approximately from 08.15 until the end of the professional competition, at approximately 12.15. The road artery, therefore, will not be passable in either direction, resulting in inaccessibility of all areas that have no other entry possibilities.

Therefore, to reach the city of Piacenza, the only possibility is to use the Paladini bridge while, to reach Castel San Giovanni, the only route available is along the Provincial Road n. 11 towards Borgonovo Val Tidone.
