ROME – Everything is ready for the semi-finals phase on the beach of the third edition of Pizza Bit Competition, the competition for professional pizza chefs created by Molino Dallagiovanna in collaboration with Gambero Rosso, the first multimedia publishing group in Italy in the Wine Travel Food sector.
Competing for the coveted title of “Dallagiovanna Pizza Ambassador 2025”, the official face of Molino for the pizza sector in Italy and around the world, will be the 27 pizza chefs selected through the nine regional competitions held from north to south from January to May.
The best 3 competitors in each semi-final will qualify for the final scheduled for Saturday 7 September at the Molino Dallagiovanna in Gragnano Trebbiense (Piacenza) during the 2nd edition of the Granai Festival.
It starts on Tuesday 9 July in Sicily at Lido Le Palme in Catania which will host the challenge between the 9 semi-finalists from the 3 regional selections in Southern Italy. On Tuesday 16 July we will move to the Marche region at the Chalet La Bussola in Civitanova Marche (Macerata) where the 9 semi-finalists from Central Italy will compete. Last meeting Tuesday 23 July in Emilia-Romagna at the Fantini Club in Cervia (Ravenna) for the race between the 9 competitors from Northern Italy.
Even in the semi-finals the comparison will take place on the creation of the Classic Plated Pizza. The technical jury made up of industry experts, bloggers and journalists, including representatives of Gambero Rosso, will also assign a score to their communication skills when evaluating the competitors. On the occasion of the three semi-finals, a popular jury will also be added to the technical jury.
The semi-finals and the final, also in this edition, will be presented by the proven couple of chefs and well-known television hosts Andrea Mainardi And Daniele Persegani.
With the start of the semi-finals, the technical sponsor Moretti Forni, a leading company for baking technologies for leavened products, and Rds 100% Grandi Successi, the Official Radio of the event, will join the Pizza Bit Competition partners. with its own DJ set by 100% Grandi Successi it will provide moments of music and entertainment both during the semi-finals on the beach and during the final at the Molino.
