Arezzo – Panathlon banquet with the theme of the Olympic Games which will begin in a month in Paris. Guests of the evening Maria Gatto and Maurizio Checcucci. Maria Gatto is the director of the Gaio Cilnio Mecenate National Archaeological Museum of Arezzo who will talk about the legend of the foundation of the Olympic Games, through mythology with the story of Pelops and Hippodamia, depicted on the beautiful Attic amphora preserved in the Arezzo museum. Maurizio Checcucci, former sprinter, part of the Fiamme Oro, participated in three Olympics with the 4×100 relay, and today is the coach of the sprinter Samuele Ceccarelli.
Arezzo – The Ivan Bruschi Antiques House Museum will participate in the Tuscany Rainbow in Summer initiative. From 6pm to 8pm it will be possible to visit for free the rich collection of the Arezzo antiquarian Ivan Bruschi and the suggestions created by great sixteenth century masters such as Pontormo, Alessandro Allori, Giuliano Bugiardini as well as the conspicuous nucleus of nineteenth century paintings, with works by Giovanni Fattori, Silvestro Lega, Plinio Nomellini, Telemaco Signorini and Armando Spadini.
