Scattered clouds in the evening; on the Ionian coast, the southern coast and inland areas, a mostly cloudy day, except for the presence of scattered clouds in the morning; on the Apennines very cloudy skies in the morning with light rain. Clearances from the afternoon until partly cloudy skies.
Moderate winds from the north-eastern quadrants. Lower Tyrrhenian Sea from almost calm to slightly rough; Channel and rough Sicilian Sea.
Yellow alert in Trapani and Agrigento due to rain
The regional civil protection in notice 24176 indicates yellow alert in Agrigento and Trapani due to rain. Precipitation is indicated as “From isolated to scattered, even showers or thunderstorms, in the western sectors, with weak or occasionally moderate cumulative quantities; isolated, even of a reverse or stormy nature, on the remaining sectors, with weak cumulative quantities”.

In the rest of Italy
North. A low pressure center continues to have its effects felt across most regions. From the early hours of the day, thunderstorms and rain will wet all regions, with locally intense phenomena in the eastern sectors. Be careful of possible hailstorms and gusts of wind. Unstable weather also in the afternoon with scattered precipitation possible across most regions.
Center and Sardinia. The transit of a cold drop causes decidedly unstable weather conditions in most sectors on this day: in the morning, irregularly cloudy skies with occasional irregular showers. In the afternoon the atmosphere will be more unstable with showers and thunderstorms more likely. Possible hailstorms and gusts of wind. On Sardinia, however, more sun.
South and Sicily. Pressure not so firm: in the morning, light rains on Sicily and the hills of Calabria and Lucania, elsewhere instead sunnier and drier. After half the day, more sun almost everywhere but not in Cilento, Pollino and Cosenza where there will be quick rain followed by clearing. Better everywhere by the next evening; ventilation from the northern and southern quadrants.

A high pressure field embraces the Region guaranteeing stable and sunny weather everywhere. Specifically, on the Tyrrhenian coast, very cloudy or overcast skies with foggy formations in the afternoon; on the Ionian coast, the southern coast and inland areas, mostly clear or slightly cloudy skies for the entire day; on the Apennines skies initially slightly or partially cloudy but with increasing cloud cover starting from the afternoon up to very cloudy or overcast skies in the evening.
Weak winds from the north-eastern quadrants attenuating and rotating to the north-western quadrants. Lower Tyrrhenian Sea from almost calm to slightly rough; Channel and rough Sicilian Sea.
North. A cold drop slowly leaves our regions. The day will immediately be compromised by rain in the Triveneto and the western Alps, then thunderstorms will break out in the Alpine, pre-Alpine and nearby plain areas, it will be sunnier in the flat areas even if in a context that is not yet stable. Weak northerly winds, rough seas, mild climate.
Center and Sardinia. The pressure slowly begins to increase therefore this day after a morning that will pass with general good weather conditions, during the afternoon irregular but locally very strong thunderstorms will break out in Marche and Abruzzo, rarer in Molise. In the rest of the regions the weather will be sunnier and also warmer. Light winds from the north.
South and Sicily. Pressure is increasing, but the weather will be locally unstable. On this day the sun will prevail in all regions, but the possibility of some afternoon thunderstorms in central-northern Puglia and some quick rain in the province of Potenza should be noted. The winds will blow weakly from variable directions, the seas will be little rough.
