Milan would have reached a total agreement with Emerson Royal. An economic agreement with Tottenham remains to be found.
On the attacking front, Milan seems to suffer some setbacks, but the opposite is true regarding the defence. The names in the notebook of Ibra and Moncada, indeed, but in these hours the market radio is reporting a sudden and decisive acceleration for a sensitive Rossoneri target: the quality right back. It is the Tottenham player himself who revealed the negotiation and said he was proud of the Rossoneri’s interest in him. Milan – writes Sportmediaset – would have taken very important steps to dress him in Rossoneri.
Total agreement
Emerson Royal had expressed himself favorably regarding a possible future at Milan, describing himself as enthusiastic about the possibility. Now – writes Sportmediaset – the player and the Via Aldo Rossi club have found a total agreement. All that is missing to celebrate the wedding is an agreement with Tottenham who, at the moment, seem stuck on the request of 20 million euros.
The alternatives
Milan aims to use the agreement reached with the Brazilian full-back to their advantage, to extract a small discount from Tottenham. The English club as mentioned seems immovable, Milan for its part is also monitoring the possible alternatives that have the names of Cash, of Aston Villa, or Tiago Santos of Lille. From what transpires, however, Milan have placed Emerson Royal in first place and will try in the next few days to define a deal that now seems close to being closed. The first blow is therefore approaching for Fonseca who will thus be able to count on the defender he wants. A new full-back is in fact one of the requests made by the Portuguese coach to the club.
