Provincial CNA celebrates its 70 years with Extraliscio in Piazza Saffi in Forlì: free concert on 28 June

CNA Forlì-Cesena celebrates its 70th birthday with a special event to be held on Friday 28 June in Piazza Saffi in Forlì. Starting from 9.30 pm, all citizens will be offered an opportunity for entertainment with a concert by the band Extraliscio.

Passion, technique and improvisation between dance hall punk, smooth techno and singer-songwriter free jazz. This is the recipe of Extraliscio, the band led by the mad sound scientist Mirco Mariani, together with Mauro Ferrara (the voice of my Romagna in the world).

As Lorenzo Zanotti and Franco Napolitano, provincial president and general director of CNA Forlì-Cesena, explain: “Continuously close by: it is no coincidence that we have chosen these words to accompany the celebrations of our 70 years. A strong message of closeness to businesses, citizens and the entire community of our territory. Being “next to” for us means being part of a network of precious relationships. In this sense, the initiatives for the 70th are inspired by a desire to give back to the community to which we feel we belong. This concert is intended as a tribute from CNA to its collaborators, businesses, friends of CNA and all citizens. An evening to be spent lightly and cheerfully in which everyone is welcome and welcome.”

Appointment, therefore, on Friday 28 June from 9.30 pm in Piazza Saffi, with the music of Extraliscio! The 2020 film by Elisabetta Sgarbi “Extraliscio – Punk da Balera”, which secured the SIAE Award for creative talent and the FICE-Italian Federation of Arthouse Cinema Award in Mantua. Also in 2020, Extraliscio composed the official song of the Giro d’Italia 103 “GiraGiroGiraGi”.

2021 was the year that made them known to the general public, with their participation in the 71st Sanremo Festival with the song “Bianca Luce Nera”, followed by the double album “È bello persi”. They signed, wrote and performed some songs from the soundtrack of Pupi Avati’s film “Lei mi parla ancora”. A long upward journey passed in just one year also for the Venice Film Festival, with the film “La nave sul monte” by Elisabetta Sgarbi, and the Turin Book Fair, with their first book “Extraliscio. A punk story on the edge of the dance hall” (La nave di Teseo).

In 2022 they returned for the second year to the stage of 1 May in Rome. The sound of Extraliscio has enchanted the public to the point of crossing the Italian borders, crossing tradition and avant-garde. In 2023 they were guests of the Sziget Festival in Budapest.
