Bergamo, 24 June 2024 – Among the players who Atalanta should convene for the meeting on July 10th at the Zingonia sports center there is also Nadir Zortea. The 25-year-old winger from Belluno returns to the Nerazzurri like every summer after the usual loan. Since January he was in Frosinone where he almost always played as a starter, finishing with 14 appearances and 1 goal and a beloved relegation to Serie B on the last day.
Product of the Nerazzurri youth sector the Venetian left winger played two half-seasons with the Dea, in the first round of 2022 and that of 2023: 9 appearances and a goal the first time, 5 appearances and a goal the second time, being then sold in January to allow him to have more space.
Now Atalanta will have to decide whether to keep him as a reserve for starter Matteo Ruggeri or let him go permanently. In recent years, Zortea has shown that he can do well in Serie A in the provincial championships, first with Salernitana, then with Sassuolo, then in Frosinone, collecting 55 appearances and 4 goals in the top flight.
