The scene that presented itself to the eyes of the Fire Brigade was worthy of a dramatic story: two scared kittens, locked in a concrete cage, inside old tanks of an abandoned aqueduct.

Once on site, the firefighters examined the structure and located the two cats in the wells. The first specimen was rescued without difficulty, while the second, injured and in a critical position, required the intervention of an ASL veterinarian.
A drama with a happy ending
After the first moments of tension and uncertainty, the two cats were safely extracted, also thanks to the fundamental help of the vet.
Both visibly tested by the experience, the specimens were entrusted to the necessary care and are now finally safe. The community of Montelabbate breathes a sigh of relief, and the owner of one of the cats can only express her infinite gratitude.
He hadn’t seen his four-legged friend since Saturday, and today he can finally hug him again, with his heart full of joy and gratitude for the rescuers who made this happy ending possible.
