Don Gabriele Semeraro will become the new parish priest of San Giuseppe in Savona in place of Don Adolfo Macchioli, who will remain parish priest of San Martino Vescovo in Bergeggi. Born on 25 March 1985 (39 years old) in the capital and ordained on 15 December 2019, Don Semeraro is currently parish vicar in Finalborgo and San Lorenzo Martire in Feglino and will make his entrance on Saturday 28 September at 6pm with the Eucharistic celebration presided over by the bishop .

Don Lorenzo Cortesi will instead be the new spiritual guide of San Biagio in Finalborgo and Sant’Eusebio in Perti. Already a Dehonian and recently incardinated in the diocese of Savona-Noli, he will replace Don Gianluigi Caneto, who renounced the position at the age of seventy-five and will reside in Rialto. Born on 14 January 1957 (67 years old) in Alzano Lombardo (Bergamo) and ordained on 18 September 1982, the parish priest will enter the two communities on Sunday 22 September at 3.30 pm with the mass presided over by Monsignor Calogero Marino.

The appointments were made by Monsignor Marino and announced over the weekend during masses in the parishes involved.
