He arrives an Italian title for Canottieri Baldesio at the Senior, PL, Under 19 and Para Rowing Championships in Varese. Paolo Gregoriformer Under 23 world champion, achieved a brilliant result also in absolute competitions by climbing to the top step of the podium in the first round of the Italian Championships.
The athlete, class of 2004, closed the Lightweight singles final by taking the lead right from the start and not conceding anything to his opponents who took turns trying to keep up with his pace. Gregori thus finished in first place with an almost 11″ advantage over the athlete from the Limite rowing team who came second, and over 12″ over the bronze medal that went to Garda Salò.
It’s not the only satisfaction Baldesio gets either two silver medals with Maria Sole Perugino and Anita Gnassi in double PL and with the four Under 19 pairs formed by Matteo Miglioli, Andrea Politi, Giovanni Sasso and Stefan Buduca.
Three medals also for Bissolati with Elena Sali, although injured, and Susanna Pedrola who took silver in Senior doubles and then a bronze each in PL singles and Senior singles respectively.
Silver for rowers Florain the four without lightweights of the brothers Riccardo and Amedeo Benedusi and Giacomo and Mattia Mariand for the Eridanea with the Under 19 double of Arianna Truzzi and Denise Mulas.
Canottieri Flora also participated in the competitions of Para Rowing winning two gold medals with the four con PR3 Mixed mix with Pescate and Padova of Maryam Afgei, Agostino Maritan, Roberto Brunelli, Michele Frosi and the helmsman Alessandro Cerioli and with the two without of Michele Frosi mixed Armida with Giuseppe Condello.
