Napoli’s interest in becoming more and more concrete Leonardo Spinazzola. The full-back will soon be released. The morning reveals what the Azzurri’s offer could be. This is what our editorial staff highlighted:
“The name of Leonardo Spinazzola (31 years old, close to leaving Roma) has come back into vogue after an initial survey some time ago. The wing slider was practically dumped by the Giallorossi club who did not extend his contract which expires at the end of the month. From next week, therefore, Spinazzola will be a luxury “unemployed”, with the particular “status” of a free agent that can be tempting. Napoli has sniffed out a deal, as long as an agreement can be reached with his entourage regarding commissions, contract and above all salary. Spinazzola, European champion with Mancini’s Italy in 2021, had a salary of 3 million euros at Roma. Napoli is thinking of a one-year plus one contract with a unilateral option (in favor of the Italian club). In practice, a sort of seasonal “token” that could be confirmed and perhaps even remodulated (economically) depending on the performance in the next competitive season. All this to reach the figures currently perceived by the player in two years until they are improved (although spread over two years) with the chapter on objective bonuses. Negotiations are open, reflections are also underway.”
