Sinistra Anticapitalista Aprilia and Rifondazione Comunista Aprilia join the day of mobilization and strike scheduled for today called by Flai CGIL against gangmastering, exploitation and illegal work.
This afternoon at 5.00 pm in Piazza del Popolo, in Latina, there will be a demonstration against gangmastering, exploitation and illegal work, at the same time as the strike in the agricultural sector, both called by Flai CGIL, following the serious events that led to the tragic death of Satnam Singh.
“We hope that the mobilization will broaden and that all the trade union organizations will proclaim the general strike – write Sinistra Anticapitalista Aprilia and Rifondazione Comunista Aprilia – practicing the insurgency and convergence that the factory collective of the ex-GKN taught us, because not we can return to the ordinariness of exploitation without having fought with all possible means to eradicate a system of slavery, where workers without rights and protections are underpaid, mistreated, beaten and killed.
The bosses try to overturn the reality of the facts and the responsibilities, blaming those who work for their shortcomings, omissions and negligence.
We forcefully reject all the racist propaganda of the right and demand the residence permit for all, without which people become extremely blackmailable and are made illegal and therefore deprived of any rights.
We demand for all workers dignified working conditions, adequate wages, reduction of working hours which in the fields can reach up to 12/14 hours as happened in the factories of the 19th century.
We demand the abolition of the system of exploitation, whether criminal or legal, generated by capitalist societies, which place the profits of the few who enrich themselves before the lives and rights of the many forced into precarious living conditions and poverty.
For this reason, Sinistra Anticapitalista Aprilia and Rifondazione Comunista Aprilia invite everyone to participate in the demonstration and support the day of mobilization”.
