A 24-year-old Albanian citizen was arrested in Rimini by the State Police, in flagrante delicto, for possession for the purpose of dealing drugs.
The activity also made it possible to identify another 35-year-old Albanian, involved in the management of drug dealing together with his compatriot, who was reported at large in the hours immediately following the Rimini Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The investigation developed with the acquisition of investigative information by the Flying Squad on the presence of a cocaine dealing square in Marina center managed by two Albanian citizens. After several days of stalking, the Flying Squad investigators found numerous evidence against the two Albanians, who, by constantly talking on the phone to each other to warn each other of possible checks and moving through traffic on board a scooter, maintained a modus operandi aimed at evade investigation attempts.
However, the operators they had already identified the place where the suspects could possess the narcotic and, on Thursday afternoon, they identified and stopped one of the two, finding him in possession of 4 doses of cocaine. Inside the apartment he had rented in Rimini they were found altogether approximately 180 grams of cocaine, part of which has already been divided into 72 doses ready to be sold, as well as packaging material and 5200 euros, which were seized.
The document of another Albanian was also found in a room of the apartment, who, however, was not present at the time of the check. The following morning, following a long stakeout, the man was stopped while returning home and taken to the police station for the necessary checks. The paternity of the money and part of the narcotic substance was attributed to him and, consequently, he was reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Rimini. His arrested compatriot, however, was taken to the Rimini prison and made available to the Judicial Authority to validate the arrest.
