«I swear to be faithful to the Republic, to loyally observe the Constitution and the laws of the State, to fulfill the duties of my office in the interest of the Administration for the public good».

With this solemn formula, on June 19th, the 2,339 probationary agents (1,912 men and 427 women) of the 225th training course of the State Police.

The ceremony took place simultaneously in eleven State Police schools located throughout Italy. Numerous young people from Corato took the oath (Cataldo Zaza, Vito Giaconella, Francesco Vangi and others whose names, if reported to the email [email protected], can be included in this article), among whom he stood out agent Francesco Tarantini.

The young policeman from Corato, born in 1999, was found to be the first among the 407 agents who attended the course at the “Vincenzo Raiola” agent student school in Trieste and fourth in the final national ranking. For this reason, during the same swearing-in ceremony, he was awarded the gold medal by the Prefect of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Pietro Signoriello.

The solemn oath of loyalty to the Italian Republic concluded the first part of the path to joining the State Police. In the next few days for Tarantini and for all new agents, the application internship will begin in the assignment offices located throughout Italy.
