Vincent Candelato the microphones of Sky Sportsspoke about various topics related to the European Championship which is being held in Germany and to Serie A.
How do you see tonight’s match between Holland and France?
“Very interesting. France’s first match didn’t go very well, even though we won 1-0. France are favorites for the group, but they’re giving up their time. In the one-off matches they’ll come out with a better version of Mbappé and Griezmann, but Deschamps needs to change a few things to play better. The Netherlands are a good team, they are the first team.”
What do you think of Italy’s defeat?
“Spain played well, however I think that Italy will move forward. They can do it, Spain pressed until the end. Afterwards, in a dry match, it will be tough to face the Azzurri”.
How do you react after a defeat like that?
“You can lose against a stronger team. Italy must be more united and it’s part of the growth, there are many young people and the team has changed. Spalletti is an expert, when you lose against a stronger team you try to grow and I think it will happen.”
Is it a question of tiredness?
“Tiredness comes later, the European Championship has just started. In those matches you have to give 110% and I can’t imagine talking about tiredness”
What season will Roma have?
“I hope for a wonderful season. Daniele has little experience, but I always thought he could become a good coach. I hope he is on the same line with the new director and, in any case, I remain a Roma fan.”
