Gun robbery in Guidonia, 2 injured

AGI – Gun robbery with two men injured at 12.30 today in via Stella Polare, in the Parco Azzurro area of Guidonia. A Moroccan and a Tunisian citizen, uncle and nephew, from Rome, were injured by gunshots from two individuals who then fled. The victims, according to what we learn, reported a robbery while they were in their car in the public car park of the residential complex. There they were apparently approached by two unknown men who, with distorted faces, arrived on the scene on a scooter, one armed with a gun and the other with a knife, asked them to hand over money. The Moroccan uncle then attempted to chase the two who had fled on foot for about 100 metres, but as soon as they reached the neighboring street, the robber fired two shots which hit his temple and kneecap. Investigations are underway by the Carabinieri of the Tivoli Company who have found the scooter probably used by the two attackers. The two injured were transferred to Sant’Andrea with non-life threatening injuries, alert and conscious.
