An attempted robbery in a parking lot. Then the gunshots. Shooting is back in Rome. The attack took place around 12.30 pm, in the area called Parco Azzurro, in the municipality of Guidonia. The two victims, a Moroccan citizen and a Tunisian citizen, uncle and nephew respectively, were sitting in their car stopped in the public car park of the residential complex. Suddenly, this is their story, they were approached by two people with covered faces arriving on a scooter.

The two robbers were both armed: one with a gun and the other with a knife. And once they got off the scooter they asked the car passengers to hand over all the money they had. After the request, a fight started. The Tunisian was wounded in the thigh with a gunshot.
While the Moroccan uncle was grazed on the temple and on the kneecap, while he was trying to chase the two thieves who were fleeing on foot through the nearby streets. Investigations are underway by the police of the Tivoli company who have found the scooter probably used by the two escapees. The two injured, however, were transferred to the Sant’Andrea hospital with non-life threatening injuries, alert and conscious.
