No post-ballot surprises: Gaffeo presents the council

ROVIGO – “With the concreteness that characterizes us, today, like 5 years ago, I present a preview of the Council in the event of victory in the elections”. Edoardo Gaffeo presents the possible team, that is, the one that will be responsible for carrying forward the projects started in the first mandate after the victory in the electoral round on Sunday 23 and Monday 24 June. In the event of an election, zero downtime: just enough time to sign the assignments and the council would be fully operational immediately.

Citizens who are called upon to choose a mayor must be aware that a mayor can only work if he has a team and only on condition that this team all pushes in the same direction. Our team will be made up of competent and passionate professionals, ready to work with dedication and commitment for the good of our community – continues Gaffeo -. I personally thank these people, who have agreed to make themselves available, and all the citizens for the trust and support shown so far. In the next few days, with everyone’s commitment, we can build a better future for our Municipality and continue the work done in the previous mandate”.

The composition of the council will see the confirmation of Roberto Tovo, Luisa Cattozzo, Dina Merlo and Benedetta Bagatin, the latter with a different “referato”. They will also be there four “new faces” on the political scene but already known for their social, sporting and professional commitment. These are: Enrica Crivellaro, expert in cultural planning and social innovation; Lorenzo Casna, energy engineer; Sara Iturriaga, Futsal champion and involved in inclusion activities through sports practice; Carlo Costantini, architect and urban planner.

By increasing the level of detail, also in reference to delegations, the Gaffeo team will be composed as follows:

Edoardo Gaffeo mayorwith delegation to the organization’s resources (budget) and human resources

Roberto TovoCouncilor for Public Works, Heritage, Accessible City and Security

Wellnedetta BagatinCouncilor for Welfare, Equal Opportunities and Healthy Cities

Dina Merlocouncilor for environmental policies and animal welfare

Sara IturriagaCouncilor for Sport and Policies for Inclusion

Carlo CostantiniCouncilor for Private Investments, Neighborhoods and Civil Protection

“As I expressed during the electoral campaign – concludes Gaffeo – unlike parties, we do not have to respond to the logic of distribution of power. The Cencelli manual does not belong to us. We offer skills and only care about projects for the city and the greater good of the citizens.

We need the support of the entire civic world to continue build an inclusive, sustainable and modern city. Those who supported the civic lists in the elections work passionately for our future, without party logic, just like us.

Every vote counts and through voting every citizen will be able to choose to protect the progress made and ensure that we continue on the path of innovation, inclusiveness and sustainability”.
