The demonstration, designed in collaboration with Mad Moodwill be officially presented on Friday 21 June, at 10.30 am, at the Hall of the Column Palazzo Nervegna Brindisiwith the interventions of Luciano LoiaconoCouncilor for Productive Activities and President of Duc Brundisium, del President of Confcommercio Brindisi Anna Rita Montanaro and del president of Confesercenti Michele Piccirillo, and with the presence of the various partners and guests of the event, including well-known designers from Montenegro.
Many leading signatures of this memorable show created for the first time by the Brindisi institution, such as Patrizia Scianaro, Italiapeulh Fulani, Marina Corazziari, Sladana Krstic, Blink By Radoslava Lazarova, Giulia Petronella, Caresta Bag, Istituto Cordella, Marina Banovic and Francoso Abbigliamento. Among the guests of excellence, also the President of Montenegro Fashion WeekSrdjan Sergio Lubarda, a fundamental presence to increase commercial relations between Italy and abroad, one of the main objectives hoped for by the organizers of the event. On the catwalk, among the most anticipated collections, that of Marina Banovictitled “The fairies of Montenegro”made with embroidery, finishes and woven materials by hand: linen, hemp, cotton and silk. Some pieces contain parts of the ancient national costumes of the regions of Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo and Albania. These are pieces that they are up to two hundred years old and their parts have been recycled and implemented into a new and modern piece of clothing. Marina Banovic has exhibited in her country and abroad. The most important collections were presented at Alta Roma 2006, Miami Fashion Week 2012, Paris Fashion Week.
The evening will be enriched by the participation of students of the “Morvillo-Falcone” Professional Institute of Brindisi, who will have the opportunity to see their creations created in the last school year parade on the catwalk, and will therefore be able to enjoy a great professional opportunity to make their creative talent known internationally. An important moment of the initiative will be the competition Miss Red Carpet, in which the Miss Salento will be identified who will represent, with her beauty, the Salento area at the next edition of the Venice Film Festival. The jury includes industry experts such as Cosimo Scialpi, director and director of Fashion TV, and designer Luca Leone. This is a way to bring the new generation closer to the world of fashion, helping them to enter this field professionally.
