This is the press release issued by the ‘Palace of Caserta’

“Special visits to the Royal Palace of Caserta to discover the royal apartments. Every day, throughout the summer, at 9.30 and 12 the tours in Italian for groups. On Saturdays at 11.30 the tour also in Italian English by the operators of the educational services of Opera Laboratori.

At the Royal Palace of Caserta it is possible to relive – we read in the press release – the dream of King Charles of Bourbon transformed into reality thanks to the creativity of a brilliant architect: Luigi Vanvitelli. Every day, at 9.30 and 12, there are planned educational group visits in Italian to the Royal Apartments, lasting approximately an hour and a half, at a cost of 10 euros per person (not included in the cost of the ticket). entrance ticket) for a maximum of 20 participants. The routes – continues the press release – curated by the operators of the educational services of Opera Laboratori, in the same way, are also available every Saturday at 11.30 am with visits in English. The special itineraries to discover the Royal Apartments will be activated with a minimum of 4 participants. You can book by writing to ‘[email protected]’ or ask for availability directly on site. We remind you that visiting hours are from 8.30am to 7.30pm (last entry at 6.15pm).

The visit to the Royal Park and the English Garden is not included – we read again – in the itinerary and can be done independently or with the support of the audio guide. The aim of the initiative is to accompany visitors throughout the summer and be able to offer them an immersion in the Royal Palace which, since the beginning of the works on 20 January 1752, dominates the Park with its 45 thousand square meters of surface and its 1200 rooms. The Royal Palace of Caserta – the statement continues – is among the most prestigious royal residences in Europe, a perfect synthesis of the arts.

We remind you that at the end of the guided tour it will also be possible to access, with the same Royal Palace ticket, the “Visions” exhibition which enriches the new spaces of the Grand Gallery until 13 October. The projects “Attraversamenti” by Luciano D’Inverno and “Genius et Loci – The dramaturgy of the gaze” by Luciano Romano tell the story of the work – we still read – the creative genius and enlightened ingenuity of Luigi Vanvitelli. The exhibition can be visited on the opening days of the Museum, from 8.30 to 19.30 with last access at 18.30. Closed on free days. Access is permitted to holders of the different types of Park+Apartments and Apartments tickets – concludes the press release – and ReggiaCard 2024 season tickets”.
