LECCO – Meeting in the Lombardy Region to take stock of the situation following theinterruption of the S7 Lecco-Molteno-Monza railway line for a series of infrastructure works planned by RFI, which began last June 9th, which will end on September 9th.

Interruptions that led to a schedule of replacement buses along the entire territory involved. “After an initial period of adjustment – ​​explains Lucente – we have reduced the critical issues for travelers to a minimum, organizing a replacement bus service suited to the needs of the territories. A notable effort by the Lombardy Region and Trenord to guarantee an optimal rail and road offer, despite the planned infrastructural interventions, precisely to improve the system. Demonstrating our interest in commuters who deserve to have efficient, punctual and modern services. We are working to achieve these goals.”

A meeting was organized in the area bus service between Monza and Lecco with shuttles also to connect the intermediate locations, in order to allow travelers to reach Monza and use the S8 (Milan-Carnate-Ponte S.Pietro), S11 (Milan-Chiasso) and Milan-Asso railway lines. For all 90 days of the works, the season tickets for the S7 line will also be valid on other lines in the area.
