Marche Region: a new tender for tourism promotion-marketing and deseasonalisation.

The Marche Region he threw a biennial call dedicated to supporting tourism operators which, through targeted promotional and marketing actions, marketing packages with stays in the region. This measure, desired by the President and Councilor for Tourism, aims to support the marketing of the “Marche Destination” through the intermediation of travel agencies, directing demand during periods of lower tourist influx.

Seasonal adjustment is one of the main objectives of the tender. This approach aims to guarantee economic continuity for operators and to enhance the heritage of the hinterland and experiential tourism. In particular, the tender provides for a financing line dedicated to encouraging tourist flows in the low season months through travel agents.

The Marche Region intends to create a strong synergy with tourist operators who deal with incoming, recognizing the importance of their role in marketing the Marche tourism product in national and foreign markets.

The resources allocated to this intervention amount to 440,000 euros, divided into two lines of action: Promotion-Marketing and Deseasonalisation.

The first line is aimed at promotional marketingwith the granting of contributions to incentivize i Incoming Marche Tour Operator (OTIM) to promote and market the regional tourism product.

The second line concerns deseasonalizationwith the granting of contributions to travel agencies and tour operators who, through their intermediation, ensure tourist flows in the low season months or lower incoming tourist influx.

Applications can be submitted via a specially created web platform until 12.00 on 13 September 2024.
