34-year-old found with 400 grams of heroin and hashish, as well as two electronic scales, accused of possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing
A 34-year-old man was arrested by the Crotone Flying Squad during an operation aimed at combating drug dealing in the outskirts of the city. The man, already known to the police for previous crimes, was found in possession of a significant quantity of heroin.
In his home and in other premises attributable to him, the agents, supported by the canine unit of the local Financial Police, found and seized a total of 409 grams of heroin, divided into 8 wrappers, and 7 grams of hashish packaged in 2 cellophane wrappers. Furthermore, two electronic scales were found and confiscated, tools often used for the packaging and sale of narcotic substances.
The Provincial Scientific Police Cabinet confirmed the nature of the seized substances. The man was then arrested on charges of possession of a narcotic substance for the purpose of dealing and was handed over to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Crotone for the necessary investigations.
