They are underway water shortages and drops in water pressure in some streets in the area of Greek’s tower today, Friday 21 June 2024: this was announced by GORI, the company that manages the water service in the area, which also announced when normal water supply will be restored. The cause of the discomfort would be linked to a sudden failure.
Water shortages in Torre del Greco today: roads and when it will return
Water shortages and pressure drops will affect the next few hours the following areas:
VIA AGOSTINO MARESCA;
VIA BENEDETTO CROCE;
VIA GIACOMO MATTEOTTI;
VIA GUGLIELMO MARCONI;
VIA IGNAZIO SORRENTINO;
HUNGARY AVENUE;
ALL RELEVANT CROSSPLACES.
The technicians are already working to repair the fault which would have interrupted the normal flow of water in the reported areas. The restoration of normal water supply, according to what was communicated, will take place gradually starting from 12.30 today, Friday 21 June 2024.
“It should be noted that when the water flow reopens, transient phenomena could occur water turbidity, short-lived, for which it is advisable to let the water flow from your taps for a few minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience” – is underlined in the note released this morning by GORI.
