The new master’s degrees

The news for the next academic year concerns the master degreeborn from the philosophy of interdisciplinarity, internationalization and collaboration between universities: ‘Geopolitics, economics and global strategies’ is a multidisciplinary course in collaboration with the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, ‘Enhancement of tangible and intangible cultural heritage’ aims to integrate new technologies into the management of artistic, archival and book assets. Particular attention is paid to STEM disciplines, with courses ‘Medical Engineering’ aimed at training figures who have the skills to manage new technologies in the healthcare sector, ‘Text Sciences and Culture Enhancement in the Digital Age’an interdisciplinary course to complete and integrate humanistic training with quantitative technical, data mining and IT skills. ‘Science, Methods and Teaching of Sports Activities’ is designed to perfect the 360° training of professionals in the world of sport.

There is also ample space for courses in English, such as ‘Accounting, Governance and Sustainability’for advanced training in corporate administrative management, or ‘Philosophical Knowledge: Foundation, Methods, Application’, an inter-university course with the University of Pavia and the IUSS of Pavia, which responds to the need for figures capable of tackling problems in the ethical, economic, political and social fields. In the end ‘Engineering technologies for energy and environmental sustainability’ to train figures who fit into the ecological transition paths with high levels of technological skills.

A University rewarded in the world of work

One year after graduating, young people en masse enter the world of work, with employment rates of 81% for master’s graduates: the average time elapsed between job search and entry into the world of work was found to be 2 months for three-year graduates and 1.8 months for master’s graduates, with a large presence of quality contracts and good salaries.
