The Campi Flegrei archaeological park which includes the Phlegraean archaeological sites, has recently become part of the World Network UNESCO of the Water Museums. Tomorrow 21 June 2024 in the conference room of Baia Castle to Bacolithe conference will be held from 9.30 am to celebrate the important recognition.
The appointment marks the entry of the Phlegraean archaeological area within the Global Network of Water Museums (Wamunet)with the presence among the speakers of Fabio Paganodirector of the Park, ed Eriberto Eulissedirector of Wamunet and the International Center for Water Civilizations.
During the interventions we will talk about ancient thermalism Phlegraean areathe tourist developments of the area and the importance of Roman infrastructures for irrigation and water supply.
Relevance will also be given to historical role of the Phlegraean Fields in the tradition of the Grand Tour and at the Multimedia Museum of Bell waters, with specific interventions dedicated during the conference by sector experts.
The meeting is promoted by UNESCO World Network of Water Museumsfrom the TEAM (International Study Center for Territory, Environment and Cultural Heritage) and by Federalberghi Terme.
