They also make an impression, a black that doesn’t suit a place that’s sunny 365 days a year, heavy in shape, ugly to look at, a glitch from some designer, maybe it’s the new trends in urban architecture.
But many don’t like them, we’re talking about the planters, we don’t know if they have any other name, which they installed on the Andrea Doria seafront in Marina di Ragusa.
As is typical of the public works department, the bathing season has already begun and work is still underway to complete various types of work.

The leader councilor of the 5 Star Movement, Sergio Firrincieli, received and published on his Facebook page one of the many messages from people who do not agree with the administration’s choices.
It goes without saying that there are also people who approve of the choices of this administration, even if many of the positive messages are from the Cassì boys, those who always intervene in defense of their favorite, perhaps demonstrating as they can the education they have received towards those who allow themselves to disagree or express simple opinions. Rabble.

This is the post published by Sergio Firrincieli:

WE RECEIVE AND PUBLISH
A citizen writes to us. And we can only share what he says about Marina di Ragusa.
Here is the text he sent us.

“On 3 August 2023 the municipal administration inaugurated the “Rotonda” and the Andrea Doria seafront in Marina di Ragusa with great fanfare. Unfortunately, as often happens with this administration, projects appear to be inaugurated before their full completion.
During the inauguration it was promised that bins and racks would be installed by September 30, 2023. Almost a year after that date, the situation is far from satisfactory.
A few weeks ago some vases were placed, of a questionable black color which, with the summer heat, risk becoming hot and unwelcoming. In these hours, some Jacaranda trees have been added inside these pots, certainly not suitable in size and structure, creating a rather disappointing aesthetic and functional result.
But the most serious lack concerns the baskets, of which there is no trace.
People are forced to go down to the beach to throw away their waste, or even keep what they have to throw away until Piazza Malta or Piazza Duca. Furthermore, as we are used to seeing too often, many leave waste unattended along the corners of the seafront or at the edges of the seats, becoming the object of criticism for incivility by other fellow citizens, who should, instead, notice and report the shortcomings of the Municipality regarding this problem.
This situation is not only inconvenient, but potentially harmful to the environment and to the aesthetic appearance of a seafront that has been inaugurated for less than a year.”
What to say. Practically perfect. Maybe many are starting to realize how things really are? We will see.”
