Asti is preparing to host a series of events to celebrate Pride month and promote the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. From 24 June to 6 July, various cultural, social and entertainment initiatives will liven up the streets of the city to raise awareness and raise awareness of diversity and inclusionAnd.
We start on June 24th with “Queer and now”an open discussion with representatives of the LGBTQ+ community of Asti.

The event, organized by The Voice of Asti, will explore the topic of gender identities from different perspectives, addressing challenges in educational, social and family contexts. We will discuss the difficulties that young people encounter, the crucial role of families in supporting their children and the importance of schools in providing an inclusive and supportive environment. We will talk about the training needs for students, teachers and families, to consciously address the problems that influence the lives of adolescents.

Also on Friday 28 June, from 5pm to 7pm, at the courtyard of the Library of Asti, a moment of reading aloud and activities for girls and boys with their families, entitled “The most important thing” promoted by the activists of Amnesty International Asti with the collaboration of Agedo Asti-Alba, Astense Library, Nati per Leggere and Asti Pride.

The events will culminate on July 5th with a spectacular Drag Queen Show at the Diavolo Rosso and, of course, on July 6th with the big Asti Pride in Piazza Catena starting from 4.30pm, with parade, music and entertainment.
