Bagnolo Piedmont. Last June 6th the award ceremony for the students of Class 3A of the Beppe Fenoglio Secondary School of Bagnolo Piemonte who participated in the National Competition: The memory of “the aftermath”, organized by the National Association of Families of the Fallen and Missing in War.

For the work and commitment made and for the rich material produced, the students deserved the first prize, with the delivery of certificates and a voucher of Euro 1,000 to the Institute for the purchase of teaching materials.

The competition is part of the School Project proposed by the Ministry of Defense to commemorate the 80 years of the Nazi-fascist massacres perpetrated in 1944.

The students, coordinated by Professor Laura Ragusa, spoke about their town located in the Infernotto Valley, which during the 1943-1945 War became the theater of conflict, recounting events that happened in their valleys, documented by oral, written and visual sources.

The mayor geom. took part in the awards ceremony. Roberto Baldi, the national vice president of ANFCDG cav. Chiaffredo Maurino, the head teacher Dr. Nicola Rossetto, as well as some municipal administrators and representatives of the fighting, arms and volunteering associations operating in the area.
