Course for the qualification of trained hunter: three evening meetings in the Province

Three evenings, two of which are theoretical and one practical: this is how the “Course for the correct treatment of the carcass for the qualification of trained hunter” is made up, scheduled for 2 and 9 July.

The course is organized by the Veterinary and Animal Food Safety Department of the Health Protection Agency of Bergamo, in collaboration with the provincial police service and the regional Agriculture, Forestry, Hunting and Fishing structure of Bergamo, pursuant to Reg. (EC) 852-853 of 2004 and decree 9907/2021 of the Lombardy Region.

The theoretical lessons, as anticipated, will take place on the evenings of 2 and 9 July, from 6pm to 9pm in the Viterbi room of the Province of Bergamo, in via Torquato Tasso at no. 8; the date of the practical lesson, however, will be communicated at the beginning of the course.

During the theoretical evenings, all the regulatory and hygienic-health aspects aimed at the correct management of the carcass will be addressed, respecting food safety and traceability. The practical lesson will instead be dedicated to the correct methods of evisceration, cutting and management of meat.

The course is free and will close when one hundred participants are reached, with the deadline for registration being July 1st. It is possible to register by accessing the Province portal, filling in the appropriate link via Spid or Cie authentication (electronic identity card).
