LENDINARA (Rovigo) – Il DeltaBlues Rovigo arrives on Sunday 23 June in Lendinara. Hero Sara Zaccarelli & the Soul Trainin Piazza Risorgimento in Lendinara, at 9.30pm.
Sara Zaccarelli is a singer who does not go unnoticed and who is not easily forgotten. Equipped with a powerful and warm voice, in this new project she takes us on a journey between the unforgettable soul classics of Aretha Franklin, Solomon Burke, Sam Cooke and Ray Charles up to the more modern Soul of Amy Winehouse, with forays into the captivating rhythms of New Orleans as well as original songs. Thirty-year-old from Bologna, he encountered black music at 19 and, through the collaboration with bassist Rita Girelli and Groove City, he was a guest on the stages of important Italian festivals such as the Porretta Soul Festival, alongside the famous Americans Sax Gordon and Toni Green, and Europeans.
It also boasts numerous collaborations with national and international artists, Blues and Soul exponents such as Pippo Guarnera and Vince Vallicelli. His first unreleased electric album, “Sing For My Soul” is from 2017, recorded live in the studio at CosaBeat with the Nu Band. In 2020 she won the national contest “MEI Superstage – Young Talents of Emilia Romagna 2020” organized by MEI (Meeting of Independent Labels) of Faenza. In April 2022 he released the album “Nudha” in which he collaborated with Adriano Viterbini (Bud Spencer Blues Explosion).
