PONTECCHIO POLESINE (Rovigo) – The academic year of the dance and dance school courses ended with two highly acclaimed shows on Saturday 15 June at the Parish Theater of Pontecchio Polesine Academy Dance of Rovigo and Adria. The interest in the long-awaited event and the high number of bookings pushed the organizers to schedule two performances, one at 7.30 pm and one at 9.30 pm, a solution that allowed all enthusiasts and all the members’ families to attend the event. event.

The show, entitled “This is me”, was inspired by the film “The Greatest Showman” and brought to the stage important and current issues such as diversity, inclusiveness, being yourself without conforming to the rest of the world. Concepts merged into a single message aimed at the public: we are different but all united by a single language, that of dance.

The protagonists of the evening were more than 150 dancers enrolled in hip hop courses at the Rovigo and Adria offices, smooth dancing and Zumba fitness. Guiding them in the performances were teachers Ilaria Barella and Giulia Rossin for hip hop, Renata Basso and Alessandro Sacco for ballroom dancing, Laura Piva and Anna Mainardi for Zumba fitness.

Great satisfaction for Enrico Pozzato, president of Academy Dance: “I congratulate all the staff for their commitment and the passion with which they participated in the creation of the two shows. Many compliments to the teachers and to all the dancers who, in addition to this final event, during the sporting year, prepared with great passion to participate in various dance competitions and competitions, winning many prizes, scholarships and recognitions”.

But for Academy Dance it is not yet holiday time. The dance and dance school is working towards another major show. On June 28th “Swan Lake – The Ego of the Swans” will be staged at the Teatro Comunale di Adria, a double show organized in collaboration with the dance school Accademia della Danza.

A truly unmissable event, enriched by the extraordinary participation of Maria Celeste Losa, solo dancer of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and Pierpaolo Ciaciulli, master of the Ukrainian Ballet Academy in Milan. who will bring the classical repertoire of “Swan Lake” to the stage, which will be followed by “L’ego dei cigni”, a show born from an idea by Chiara Lamolinara, Ilaria Barella and Giulia Rossini, which will range from classical dance to modern, up to to intertwine with hip hop. Another event not to be missed is also scheduled in the Etruscan City on August 2nd: the dancers of Academy Dance will bring the show “This is me” back on stage in Piazza Garibaldi during the usual and very popular “Summer Fridays” in Adria.
