As soon as the Emilian rocker announced the dates of next year’s concerts on his Facebook page, it was clear that the city of the Strait is always in his heart. “Vasco live two thousand twenty-five. The show that will never end. That’s where we’ll be next year.” wrote the artist. and among the stages there is Messina with a double performance on 21 and 22 June 2025at the Franco Scoglio stadium.
Mayor Federico Basile and councilor Massimo Finocchiaro are satisfied: “Messina will once again be at the center of attention of Italian rock music fans. We are particularly proud to host Vasco Rossi who returns to the city in the sign of that administrative continuity that saw Vasco perform in 2022 during the De Luca administration which brought the great events back to Messina to make it City of Music and Events. Today we continue with this perspective with a program of music and entertainment events already for 2025 to further consolidate the Città della Musica brand and make Messina a protagonist beyond its borders”.
The event sponsored by the Municipality of Messina is entrusted to the organization of the promoter of shows in Sicily, Carmelo Costa: “It is the second great concert, after Marco Mengoni’s, that we announce for 2025. An important year – said Costa – because it marks the milestone of 50 years of my business. It will be a great celebration that will involve 80 thousand spectators in two days, with an unprecedented economic impact on the city that hosts us”.
