Here we are: Napoli’s first shot of the Conte era arrives. Rafa Marin, born in 2002 for Real Madrid, arrives. And he arrives with a particular operation. Definitive title, for a sum exceeding 10 million euros with buyback in favor of Real, which however is only valid from the second year, already set at 25 million for 2026 and 35 million for 2027. But it doesn’t end here because Napoli he inserted a further clause, to protect himself. In fact, if the player were to do particularly well, the Neapolitan club would have the possibility (through the payment of a bonus, and therefore effectively increasing Rafa Marin’s price) to also increase the buyback amount. In short, given a further payment of around another 10 million, the buyback figures would rise up to 50 million for 2026 and up to 70 for 2027: double for everyone, practically. Now Napoli will be able to concentrate on the other situations: the affairs of Kvara and Di Lorenzo which will not be resolved soon (provided they are resolved as Conte would like, i.e. with the two remaining), on the discussion relating to Osimhen, on the attack on Buongiorno and on chiseling the squad to make Napoli competitive.
The negotiation between Aston Villa and Juventus for Douglas Luiz is also unblocked. The impasse generated by McKennie’s “no” to the transfer had actually created quite a few problems for Juventus.
