Ugo Galli, centre-right candidate in the Manfredonia run-off, continues to press on the issues in view of the electoral round. “We recognize the vital importance of the new generations in building the future of Manfredonia – he said speaking of youth policies -. Therefore, we are committed to implementing innovative youth policies that not only offer spaces for expression and active participation (even within peripheral city areas), but which then facilitate the job placement and professional training of young people”. Galli has set up a website, ugogallisindaco.it, where he published the entire program.
The candidate focuses strongly on economic innovation: “We aim to transform Manfredonia into a center of growth and innovation, strengthening the competitiveness, development and attractiveness of productive activities (including the fishing and agriculture sectors, to which the constitution is dedicated of specific interlocution bodies), entrepreneurial, commercial and artisanal, also drawing on the economic resources deriving from cohesion policies. We will also promote tourist attractiveness, enhancing local peculiarities and developing new economic initiatives that produce benefits for both the local community and visitors”.
Among the topics discussed by Galli in these last days of the electoral campaign, also social cohesion: “Strengthening the social fabric of Manfredonia means protecting the most vulnerable sections of the population, improving access to social services and combating loneliness and marginalization. We are committed to building an inclusive and supportive community, where every citizen can feel supported and valued.”
