Warm up your engines Hydrogen Expo, an Italian exhibition-conference entirely dedicated to the technological sector for the development of the hydrogen supply chain, the third edition of which is scheduled in the pavilions of the Piacenza Expo from 11 to 13 September. More than three months after the opening of the gates, the event organized by Mediapoint&Exhibitions can already count on over 125 accredited exhibitors.
The fair brings together the main innovations in the sector, with particular attention to aspects related to the production, transport and storage of hydrogen as well as the various applications and end use. The third edition of the Hydrogen Expo will be able to count on the close collaboration with H2IT, the Italian Hydrogen Association, the reference body for the advancement of knowledge and the study of disciplines relating to technologies and systems for the production and use of hydrogen hydrogen. The association will organize an important part of the rich schedule of meetings, conferences and workshops of the three days in Piacenza.
A particular focus will be dedicated to the prospects for using hydrogen in the road, rail and sea transport sectors. Ample space will be dedicated to market innovations in the construction, lifting and handling machinery sectors, but also industrial cleaning. The program of events, currently being defined, will then be drawn up in close collaboration with the trade associations and bodies that sponsor the Hydrogen Expo, but also with the exhibiting companies themselves who will propose the latest technological innovations to the participants and will offer their experience through workshops and case histories.
“We are very satisfied with such an already high number of people signing up for our event, also because it is clear from this that the main market operators, including foreign ones, have realized the value of the Piacenza exhibition compared to the other events present in Italy”, states Fabio Potestà, organizer of the exhibition-conference. The second edition of the Ihta-Italian Hydrogen Technology Awards will also be held on Thursday 12 September, the awards designed to give greater visibility (including internationally) to the work of companies operating both in Italy and abroad in the hydrogen technological supply chain, recognizing its professionalism, know-how, development and strategic role.
As tradition for all events organized by Mediapoint&Exhibitions, the gala dinner reserved for the participants of the event which will be held in the Tapestry Room of the Alberoni Gallery in Piacenza has been scheduled for Wednesday 11 September (opening day of the event), an evening which will give exhibitors to network in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere.
Hydrogen Expo enjoys numerous institutional patronages, starting from those of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, of Enea – National Agency for new technologies, energy and sustainable economic development, of the Emilia-Romagna Region, up to the Municipality of Piacenza .
