Four initiatives open to the public, animated by screenings of short films and music, for an evening where local products will be the protagonists. It will also be present, with a selection of its products East Lombardy. “Ape da Noi – Imagine an evening at the Castle” – this is the name of the initiative – will take place on Friday 28 June from 6.00 pm until late at night. Among the tasty proposals present in the exhibition-market, contained in the picnic basket and served in the dinner with a menu created together with the twinned cities of Brescia, as well as the local ones of East Lombardy (www.eastlombardy.it/it/eventi/ brescia/ape-da-noi-metti-una-sera-in-castello/), there will be products that also boast the De.Co.- Municipal Denomination brand, currently Persicata, Biscotto Bresciano, Bossolà, Pirlo and Bertagnì. The basket will therefore welcome visitors picniccontaining a selection of products also with an international flavor offered by the five cities twinned with Brescia, for an aperitif that can be consumed independently (cost 25 euros).

Darmstadt, Logroño, Bethlehem, Troyes and Kaunas (a Lithuanian city which will soon sign the twinning agreement) are the locations which will also be the protagonists of the Dinner “The Twins Dinner” which will take place at the Torre di Mezzo of the Castle (cost 50 euros). The value of the initiative is explained Andrea Poli, Councilor for Productive Activities, Tourism, Social and Economic Innovation and the Digital Transition of the Municipality that, speaking of “Bee from us”underlines how «In a single evening, very important results for the Municipality of Brescia are celebrated together with the citizens who will participate: the De.Co., strongly desired by the Mayor Laura Castelletti, allow us to recognize typical and iconic products of an increasingly international city, but capable of maintaining its roots, in particular those of food and wine». The international scope of the city and its renowned gastronomic resources is also present through the twinned locations and in particular the Councilor focuses on the Lithuanian city, explaining that «the twinning with Kaunas, which we will sign in July, establishes a new friendship, born from common social, cultural, economic intentions and, in this case, also gastronomic promotionto”. A constant commitment that of the Lioness of Italy for the valorization of the food and wine heritage that Andrea Poli also highlights in relation to the brand of Eastern Lombardy. «The continuous work of valorising our territory through cuisine continues in partnership with three “sister” cities – Bergamo, Cremona and Mantua – thanks to the East Lombardy collaboration agreement», concludes the councilor. And East Lombardy will be the setting for the initiative with one market exhibition (from 6.00 pm to midnight) set up in the locomotive area, where it will also be possible to participate in the “Taste Workshops” organized by the local Slow Food convivium. It will close the evening”A cocktail night with Tom Collins“, after dinner organized in the Fossa Viscontea, where it will be possible to attend a moment dedicated to cocktails and their history with Tom Collins, protagonist of the web series “Have you seen Tom Collins?” made in Brescia.

All experiences will take place even in case of bad weather; the picnic baskets will in any case be delivered and an indoor alternative is provided for guided experiences, dinner and cocktail night.
