Perugia, over a thousand counterfeit products seized from fifteen entrepreneurs

Over 1,200 products were seized in Perugia by the men of the Customs and Monopolies Agency as part of the “Lince” operation. These are counterfeit goods or goods that do not comply with safety regulations found in the possession of fifteen economic operators in the capital. The seizures mainly concerned electrical material for violations of the low voltage, Rhos and electromagnetic compatibility Directives. Around fifty jacks and car jacks were also sealed, these too found to be in violation of the Machinery Directive. The outcome of the checks was also reported to the competent authorities, from the Chamber of Commerce to the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, for financial sanctions.
