Design and implementation of green and blue infrastructure in urban and peri-urban areas, to strengthen the protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including in cities, and reduce all forms of pollution. The Regional Council, upon proposal of the Department of Culture and Landscape, has decided on the allocation of additional funds to be allocated to call for green and blue infrastructurefinanced with 2.5 million of Euro of European resources from the Regional Programme ERDF 2021-2027.
These resources will allow you to scroll through the ranking of the projects admitted so far, which in this way become in total 20.
Three more have now been added to the 17 previously financed projects. This is the project of Municipality of Gambettola (Fc) which involves the regeneration of a green area, partly used for the new school building, with the creation of a cycle/pedestrian ring along the Rio Rigoncello, bordered by tree and shrub species (contribution 729,264 euros); of the redevelopment project of theBotanical Garden of Bologna, presented by the University of Bologna, which includes, among other things, the strengthening of the tree and shrub landscape with the planting of 112 new trees (contribution 1,418,522 euros). Finally, the project of Municipality of Calendasco (PC) which proposes the redevelopment of three green areas and the de-concreting of built spaces to return them to naturalness (contribution 264,326 euros).
The three new interventions concern an area of approximately 7.50 hectares which, added to the interventions already financed, involve a total of over 236 hectares.
The total contribution allocated is 23,875,115 euros, over 5 million more than the budget foreseen by the tender, initially equal to 18,000,000 euros. The creation of green and blue infrastructure is one of the operations of strategic importance (OIS) for the PR Fesr 2021-2027, and provides a fundamental contribution to achieving the objectives of the program.
