In line with previous years, the notice is aimed at supporting work-life balance, with particular attention to the most vulnerable families in the city of Bari, and the daytime management of minor children aged between 3 and 17, favoring their attendance at courses and summer daytime activities.
To support the carrying out of summer activities, the Municipality has accepted requests for registration in the‘municipal list of summer centers in the city of Bari, granting promoters financial support, in the form of a contribution, to guarantee a certain number of places to be allocated to minors. The procedure involves a maximum amount payable for each individual proposing summer center activities equal to 15 thousand euros.
The beneficiaries of the intervention are minors, aged 3-17 years, resident in the Municipality of Baribelonging to families with Valid ISEE income equal to or less than 25 thousand euros. The ISEE income threshold does not apply to members with disabilities.
Based on the published ranking, there are 39 promoters admitted to financing. Of these, the first 26 can be financed immediately, while the remaining 13 will be financed thanks to further resources allocated by the municipal council. In fact, last June 11th, the council approved a resolution to remodulate the planning of the interventions of the POC Metro 2014-20 with which another 300 thousand euros are added to the 350 thousand euros initially allocated last April, again from the POC Metro (measure POC_BA_I.3.1.c “Summer centers 2024”). This further allocation, which brings the financial endowment available for the intervention to a total of 650 thousand euros, was decided while awaiting the results of the notice from the Family Policies Department dedicated to the Municipalities interested in accessing the funding provided for the operation of the summer centers for minors.
