This evening the 16th edition of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Gala promoted by the New Athletic Club association of Bitonto takes place.

First the general rehearsals, with the athletes arranged in perfect symmetry, and then the actual performance. «We chose the musical as the theme because our athletes will perform with different soundtracks as background», the president of the sports association, Marino Drimaco, explains to BitontoLive. Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, Romeo and Juliet, Grease, Pinocchio, High school musical: these are just some of the musicals in which the gymnasts will compete. All groups will participate, with athletes ranging from 3 years old and up: the youngest, the debutants, the dolphins, the butterflies and the competitive ones.

The final essay is the natural conclusion of a season full of satisfactions and medals for the athletes of the New Athletic Club. «Our group is growing – says Drimaco – and, after having appeared in Terlizzi, now more than one hundred athletes are part of our family.”

The Gala will take place starting from 8.30pm in the outdoor area of ​​the municipal swimming pool and, in addition to the authorities, the historic NAC president Antonio De Palma, who founded the rhythmic gymnastics association back in 1974, will participate.
