Annual meeting of Coldiretti Varese in the name of positive results and a strong commitment to the future.

The 2023 final budget, approved unanimously, highlights the solidity and competitiveness of the Varese agri-food sectorthanks to the commitment and work of agricultural entrepreneurs and the support of the organization: 2023 was also the year in which the work on the new headquarters in via Monte Rosa 34 was completed, where the provincial federation moved to first weeks of the current year and where the meeting took place last night.

President Pietro Luca Colombo and the director Rodolfo Mazzucotelli have reiterated the priorities of the agricultural world: in the foregroundwildlife emergency, with the announcement of the mobilization that today brought Lombard farmers – including the Varesotto – in front of the Pirellone. Coldiretti Varese is ready for new mobilizations to defend Made in Italy and the work of agricultural entrepreneurs. Among the ongoing initiatives, the #nofakeinitaly signature collection: for the traceability of production and transparent labelling, in addition to the already mentioned mobilization against wild boars.

The assembly – during which representatives of the Lombardy Agricultural Consortium also spoke – ended with the hope of President Colombo, who highlighted how «Coldiretti Varese intends look to the future with confidence and determination, ready alongside agricultural entrepreneurs to face challenges and seize new opportunities. The objective is to build an increasingly sustainable, competitive agriculture capable of enhancing the excellence of the pre-Alpine territory.”
