With the exhilarating sound the “Tramonti-Crosta” Bersaglieri fanfare also conquered Bologna: the famous military musical group took part in the celebrations in the Emilian city for the centenary of the National Bersaglieri Association, founded on June 30, 1924.

“La Lonate” participated in the events together with other popular Italian brass bands: in particular she performed in Piazza Nettuno in front of the citizens of the capital and subsequently also in the courtyard of the Officers’ Club in Palazzo Grassi.

A gathering of great value, which also recalls the link between the city and the “feathered infantry”: the Bersaglieri of the “Goito” Battalion – together with the Arditi of the IX Assault Department – were the first Italian soldiers to enter liberated Bologna on 21 April 1945, alongside the partisan forces already present. And again the city hosted the Sixth Bersaglieri Regiment from 1992 to 2005, at the Mameli barracks, in the western area of the city, which today hosts the Friuli Airmobile Brigade.

But not just military music: the fanfare she also performed a curious homage under the house that belonged to Lucio Dallaplaying three of his big hits.
